Hello. My name is Phillip L. Velez. I am a native New Yorker of Puerto Rican descent with a master’s degree in corporate communication. I aim to communicate great stories about excellent people and organizations.

I started blogging in 2003 mainly as a vehicle for my personal writing. Posts where primarily very general in nature. I wanted to write about anything and everything. Overtime several main topics developed: Latino/Puerto Rican culture, social media, and politics.

If I had to categorize the theme or niche of this blog, I would say it’s a Latino/Puerto Rican political blog written by a social media enthusiast.
